Co-directed by Guan Lee and Daniel Widrig, Material Architecture Laboratory combines the common interests of their two research activities: └Grymsdyke Farm and └Daniel Widrig Studio. Grymsdyke Farm is a research facility and fabrication workshop in Buckinghamshire that Lee has been developing since 2004. Daniel Widrig founded his studio in 2009 and works with digital systems across sculpture, fashion, furniture design and architecture.
